About The Event
The Queen City HBCU Cookout Scholarship Fundraiser is one of Charlotte’s premier HBCU community events, bringing together alumni, students, families, and supporters from Historically Black Colleges and Universities across the region.
Hosted by Queen City HBCUs, Inc., this annual event celebrates HBCU pride while supporting scholarship initiatives that help future students pursue higher education. Attendees can enjoy music, great food, games, vendors, networking opportunities, and the chance to connect with representatives from 25 HBCUs and their local alumni chapters.
Please note, Food is NOT included with the purchase of an event ticket. A variety of local food trucks will be onsite offering a wide selection of food and beverages for purchase. All food and beverage purchases are the sole responsibility of each attendee and must be purchased directly from the participating food truck vendor.
