Our 2026 Sponsors share a powerful commitment: investing in the future of Historically Black Colleges and Universities.
For nearly two centuries, HBCUs have been engines of opportunity — producing a disproportionate share of Black doctors, lawyers, engineers, teachers, and entrepreneurs, often while operating with a fraction of the resources of predominantly white institutions. Queen City HBCUs, Inc. exists to close that gap right here in our community: awarding scholarships that keep talented students enrolled and on track to graduate, building pathways to economic mobility, and strengthening the bonds between HBCU alumni, students, and supporters across the Charlotte region.
Our annual summer fundraiser is the centerpiece of that mission — and it's grown into the largest HBCU gathering of the year in the Queen City. It's a celebration of legacy, achievement, and Black excellence, bringing together alumni chapters, current students, and community partners for one unforgettable day.
None of it happens without our sponsors. Their generosity fuels every scholarship we award and every student whose path through college gets a little less uncertain because of it. Because of them, we don't just host an event — we change lives.
